This policy is compliant with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

1. Website Visitors & Data Collection

Like most website operators, JCK Renovations collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. JCK Renovations’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use the website.

JCK Renovations also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users submitting forms.

2. Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information (PII)

Certain visitors choose to interact with JCK Renovations in ways that require us to gather PII. The amount and type of information gathered depends on the nature of the interaction.

  • For Quotations/Estimates: We ask for Identity Data (name), Contact Data (address, email address, telephone numbers), and Project Details (description of the renovation work, site location, required timescales).

  • For Contract Work: We ask for additional Financial Data (payment details, billing address) and Transaction Data necessary to process the contract and manage the construction project.

We collect such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of your interaction with JCK Renovations. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent us from providing a quote or performing the necessary renovation services.

3. Protection of Your Information

JCK Renovations discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organisations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on JCK Renovations’s behalf or to provide the contracted services (e.g., sharing site details with a hired plumber or electrician), and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.

We will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. We only disclose PII in response to a lawful request (subpoena, court order, or governmental request) or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of JCK Renovations, third parties, or the public at large.

JCK Renovations takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of PII.

JCK Renovations uses cookies to help us identify and track visitors, their usage of the website, and their website access preferences. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of JCK Renovations may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
